After much haranguing of Cinemas and begging of UIP, as your almost certainly aware now that the cinema is booked and tickets are on sale. Currently, we're in the process of getting you guys some awesome prizes! So be sure and get your best Whedon  outfits on, (I wanna see a Spike somewhere) because  there should be an amazing prizes for best costumes.

The extra Serenity Mouse pads that  are left over after  ticket holders recieve theirs, will be available for sale for $5 each on the day. So, if you want to pick up a couple of extra, now's your chance.

We also will be recieving donations for Equality Now at the screening, and auctioning off some great gear!

If anyone would like to donate goods for auction, or prizes please feel free (honestly...feel free) to contact us via serenitysydney@hotmail.com to organise pick up, or just tell us what you have to give.

Also, anyone who cannot attend the screenings but would still like to donate money for Equality Now, then again please contact us via that email address.

I'd just like to add a little something that  has been rolling around in my head all day.
This screening, is going to be awesome! No doubt about that. If anyone missed any of the pre screenings last year, now is your chance to experience a wonder like no other: Watching the Big Damn Movie with an audience of Big Damn Browncoats.
It's a fantastic and unique experience.

However, the thing that has been rolling around in my mind is this:
We will be saving and changing peoples lives, while we're having fun. This event, and every ticket sold across the world will help stop the violation of some woman, or child's basic human rights. There are girls who will never know (or suffer) the abuse their mothers suffered, because a bunch of people went and saw a movie.
That's powerful and in it's full context,  the Can't Stop the Serenity  Screenings,  will effect change in peoples lives, by empowering Equality Now to do what they do.

So, beyond seeing a fantastic movie, in a room of fantastic people, we will make a difference.
I don't know about you, but when it comes to aiding in the freedom and stopping the injustices done to woman, then...
